Default Water Pump on KA24DE

I redid the seal on my water pump on my KA because it was leaking, and when i put the new seal on it started pissing coolant everywhere, now i put RTV on and waited a couple hours and there is a hole on the bottom of the water pump which looks to me like as if a bolt went up in it but there is no threads, anyone know whats up?

the hole is a seep hole purposely put there to let you know if the waterpump is leaking past the bearing/seal that is inside. if you have water coming out then you need a new pump
