I wanna do away with my heater core/AC, climate control, etc. any problems other than windsheild fog? I want to install keyless entry on my CRX so i can use EF 4-dr rear handles, can anyone reccomend a good aftermarket kit?? Oh yeah does anyone have or know sumone dat has a C/F hatch for a CRX? If so what did they do for the back glasses? pics if u got'em.

If you get a carbon hatch, get a plexi rear window. It's a lot less stress/weight on the carbon hatch. Pretty much everything on the market is crap, so anything you can do to make it last longer is nice. Don't expect much for sealing though, it's very very hard to make a carbon hatch stiff enough to seal well. You'll lose a little bit of chassis stiffness also. Everything (glass, hatch, doors, etc) is structural except the door windows.

Your AC will shed a few pounds, but unless you're making a track car, why not keep the climate controls and blower, etc.? You'll only be saving a tiny bit of weight, and wouldn't you like to have moving air if you need?

yea thought about all of that. when i get the C/F hatch i was goin to put the FAL lexan factory lookin peices in the hatch, and make the small part out of a peice i have around here and jus tint it or sumthing. i goin sound like im stupid when I say this but....... OH YEA forgot about it bein structural!!! The car its self will a weekend crusier as well as occassional track brusier. NO RAIN OR SNOW!!! that jus give me more of a reason to buy a good rollcage.
