You would do well to post some pertinent info; y'know, basic stuff like...oh, what year the car is, what model, what motor is in the car.

look at this picture

see the green plug, look to see if you have what the green plug plugs into. its the vtec solenoid as seen in the following picture

http://www.octagonwebdesign.com/b16/...CF0107_JPG.jpg

as long as you have this solenoid your in luck and the guy isnt trying to cheat you.
this is how its supposed to be wired (its really easy)

STOP!! THIS IS FOR A OBD1 P72 ECU!!!! - i need to know if your car is obd0 or obd1 then i can tell you the right pinouts. however im going to list what i think you have, which is a obd1 p72 ecu.
-the solenoid has one wire coming from it which goes to A4 on your ecu
-the pressure switch has 2 wires coming from it which goes D6 on your ecu the other wire goes to any ground.

the following image shows excatly where on the ecu these are.

hope that helps.

yeah id say that if vtec needs to be wired then it was a hack job and I wouldnt bother. There are people on here selling pretty good deals on already swapped cars.
