im just wonderin if its possable to have some sort of vtec toggle switch like turn off vtec or turn it on liek when it coems race time or something

actually vtecnology has a point. if the vtec cam profiles were on all the time there would be a significant loss in low end torque. ask anyone with a high lift/duration cam in their car that doesn't have vtec. hell, drive mine.

a vtec controller changes the point at which vtec engages. but if you must, you can put vtec to a toggle switch. all you have to do is give constant power to the vtec solenoid i believe.

thast what i thought (the solenoid thing) but yea...yall both have points i have a feeling if it were made for it it better stay that way i dono just a question not like ima do anything some time soon i gota get vtec first lol (car too)

there's a vtec pressure switch..you can just unplug it and have a 5000 redline
