Vtec Problems

Im having problems with my vtec on my b18c. I can hear a difference when vtec is engaged but the car dosent pull any harder. It dosent pull like it did just a month ago. I hope somebody can give me some ideas on how to fix this problem.

Re: Vtec Problems

Low on oil, VTEC solenoid screen could be dirty, or bad solenoid.

you don't have to feel vtec... actually it's better with a smoother transition... i don't feel mine at all and i like it that way... it could because change in weather too...

If you're not in first gear, you aren't going to feel it anyway (if you're mostly stock anyway).

Don't laugh but are you swapped? I had this problem on my civic and had to basically repin my vtec wires that go to the ecu.
