Default VTEC Oil Pump

I have been looking for a replacement oil pump for my B18C1 at my local auto parts the same part number comes up for both a LS and the VTEC engines. So what is the real difference between a LS and GSR oil pump?

You sure you want to trust your engine's lubrication to some shitty, generic "local auto parts store" piece? Go OEM or some other tried and trusted aftermarket company...

You can rebuild the OEM unit you have. Buy the rotors from Acura/Honda, as well as the spring and plug. Beats paying $130 for a new one, since your housing is fine.

Edit: Or atleast I though you could buy the rotors from the dealership.
