Default VOLKSWAGEN MECHANICS

i have a golf thats not charging, alternators good, everything is hooked up but cant figutre it out, bplease shoot some suggestions

Its pretty much just running off the battery and when the batterys died the car dies

So if you're saying the alternator is good, I'm assuming you've taken it somewhere and got it checked. If that's the case, and it isn't charging the battery, then it's most likely a simple wiring problem.

Give me a rundown on how many wires connect to the alternator. I don't really touch VW stuff at all..

there the ground, and a blue wire the goes to the alternator plug i dont see any other wires
