Default Valve covers polished or not?

i hate making another thread but I couldnt edit the other one.

Im trying to figure out if I should paint the valve covers black and get a chrome piece on top or polish the valve covers and get a black cover. Any other ideas are welcome:

NO CHROME!!!! haha really, it harbors heat. as for polishing and all of that, it really depends (in my opinion) what is complimentary to the engine compartment as a whole. form always follows function.
