Default v-afc help

i recently installed my v-afc so i can tune my car and it's being a pain. everything works fine at startup, i can watch my settings, everything reads great and i can adjust fuel and what not, but after i set everything and turn my car off, the afc resets itself. now the first thing that came to my mind was i had the afc power wires (the red and orange ones) connected to a switched 12v source, but isnt the ign. power into the ecu a constant 12v source? i dunno, if anyone thinks they can fix it i'll throw 'em like 20 bucks and i'll have it all pulled apart so you can look at it. i need this thing working right asap because im supposed to get dyno tuned tomorrow.

holy shit you're the man lol. i'm a dumbass, i thought you were supposed to initialize the shit right away so i always did it. i just set everything, shut the car off and restarted it w/out initializing and it saved all the settings. thanks.
