type r pistons

Ok so I got factory ITR pistons going into a b18b1 ls motor with only an intake and a header full exhaust system. What kind of gains am I looking at as far as horsepower torque top end and bottom end speed if any noticable gains at all. New to the engine building so...

umm, i think compression just jumps up to 10:1 with the stock ls head, so prolly not much more than stock

LS/VTEC alone will be a difference & yeah with LS/VTCE the higher compression would help a tad with a lil more hp & stronger power band(power will come in a lil lower) with tuning.
