Angry Type r bogs down when vtec hits ?! help
this just hapened recently , when it hits 5500rpm it get stuck as if it were the rev limiter and doesnt go anywhere. replaced spark plugs and did oil change and nothing -.- any help ??

What ECU do you have? Fuel cut on some Honda ECU's is 5500... think of it as free launch control.

Did you check for oil pressure? Are you throwing any CELs? Remove your vtec solenoid and clean the screen, then reassemble everything.

yes i hear it but as soon as it hits it seems to hit like a rev limter
