i got this for free how does it work sorry for the quality i think its a boost controler it says "boost (- +)"

thats is an auxilary boost controller for the UTEC engine management system. It's used to fine tune in your boost if you can't get it within 1 or 2 psi from the electronic setting.

I'm sure it would work as a "stand alone" boost controller(no UTEC). Very easy install. The further in the boost controller the "screw" is, the less boost if will run.
