turbo shop/machine shop

Default turbo shop/machine shop

i just got a t28 from a friend and one of the studs is broken off in the exhaust housing...does anyone know if id have to take it to a turbo shop or could i just take it to a machine shop and they take care of it for me??

There are a couple ways to go. You could drill it and tap it yourself or take it to any machine shop. It is very simple and a machine shop should be able to take care of it for very little money.

turbo specialties and machine, in chesapeake. i used then on my t28 a few years ago.

yea i was thinkin about them...i took a t25 to them to rebuild like 2 yrs ago and never went back *oops* but yea i need this shyt fixed...im gonna call them and performance unlimited tomorrow...anyone have any other recommendations
