Default turbo help...

im almost done putting a drag turbo kit on my car, but i have one line that is left over and dont really know what it is, it come off the air side of the turbo and is tapped into the housing, is this a vaccum line or what? ill try to get pics if you can understand what im talkin about! need help fast, thanks.

It goes to the wastegate. If you already have another hose going to the w/g just cap the fitting off the turbo.

well one of your fittings on your wastegate will go to a strong vacuum source on your manifold...the other one will be taken up by that port on the turbo. Pick which ever one will make your wiring look like less of a rats nest,and make it so you dont have to run crazy lines,and risk having a line fall off,or get pinched.

yes. also remember,vacuum T fittings are your friend.

Internal or external wastegate? If it has 2, then there is probably one near or on the top and another near the bottom of the wastegate housing. If you just want to run what the wastegate is set for then just hook up either the upper one (for internal cuz it pushes the wastegate open) or the bottom (for external cuz it pulls open). This is true for most wastegates, but I'm sure there's oddball ones that are totally diferent. A pic would actually be best to try and determine what you need to do.
