Default Turbo and AEM problem

If I'm running a turbo setup in my 97 ex can i still use an AEM intake? Will I have to cut the intake or should I just buy a short ram or something else and sell the AEM(cold air)?

if your running a turbo setup your intake will be replaced by a charge pipe, your only "intake" will be a tube to the compressor side of the turbo, you wont have an intake going to your throttle body like you have now, it will be replaced by a charge charge pipe that comes from the intercooler, dont buy a short ram or any other intake for that matter becase it prolly wont do you any good, some people cut there intakes and try to make them work as an intake to the turbo, but it usually doesnt work out, i had one custom made, and most turbo kits come with a turbo intake pipe designed to fit your car.,it usually has to make a couple of bends to fit underneath the radiator hose and clear some stuff.........

I used to be very nice, too...but stupid people have made me the asshole that I am today. I'm not proud of it, but it's just the way it is.

Look, here's the deal. There's being a little unsure about something technical, and then there's posting something that really should be common sense or researched. Ever hear of the term, "Ask a stupid question and get a stupid answer"? This applies on dragVA like it would on any other forum. So don't go plkaying off that dragVA is full of flamers moreso than any other forum, ask that particular question on any forum and you will get flamed.
