Default tryn to drop compression ratio

my compression ratio is 11-8-1 and i want atleast 10-0-1 what size head gasket i need thanx

well now i can help you,

honestly i dont think there is a headgasket thick enough to drop compression almost 2 points.

maybe 1 point max.

whats the setup? and what bore? so i can link you to what your looking for?

its a b20 with bore to 84mm i just tryn to boost the motor only want to run 15psi

whys the compression so high? does it have high compression pistons in it?

yea i bought te motor and the guy said it was low but once i got it i relized it was high what can i do i need it dropd 4 boost

honestly your best bet to get it to the compression you were asking about earlier is to buy a new set of pistons, that way you get the compression about where you want it, especially without having to worry about valve to piston contact.....


the thickest headgasket can probably only give you about a point lower compression....

Using a thick headgasket is the WRONG way to go about dropping compression.

Think about why that is before replying back.

Spray a 200shot on there one time. That'll lower your compression
