Hey ive been ignoring my messed up gsr trans. for a while now but would like to figure out whats wrong with it now. It stopped going into second gear a while ago. I noticed when the car is fully stopped, if i put it into 2nd it goes into gear, but if i release the clutch it will start to grind, even when i push the clutch back down it grinds until i take it out of 2nd. Car sometimes goes into 2nd when its moving, most of the time it grinds tho. I hear alot of clutch chatter from the stage xtd clutch. Is there a possibility it could be the clutch? any input?

sounds like your 2nd gear has been grenade'd and isnt there

Synchro for second gear and second gear itself could be shot and sounds like your clutch is out also. I haven't heard great things about xtd. Just go stage one exedy. Here is a link to take your case apart if it is possible. I did mine in little under an hour. It is not that difficult.
