tranny help
i have a full jdm gsr the other day i was tryin to get on a main road so i got on it 1 and 2.. i came up to a light i went in 1 fine then i went to 2nd start knocking so i got out of it really fast and went to 3rd.... so i got to my boy house it had a soft knocking i would push the clutch in and the knock would go away.. so yesterday i pulled the all motor the throw out bearing was gone i replaced it put it all together still knocking.. what could it be????

Ok, so it's knocking in one gear only. Does it knock only when the car is moving or does it knock all the time?

Ok if I was to put it in 2nd gear it knocks and it has a soft knock if I'm just sitting there not in gear if I push the clutch in the knocking goes away... also if I'm in 2nd gear it will move it just knock faster and it only does it in 2nd gear no other gear

i believe it could be either of the 2 input shaft bearings. when its in the higher gears, you're probably doing 20+mph. its got some load on the shaft preventing if from bouncing around too much. Hearing it in 1st and a little in 2nd would make sense
