buy a new block.

or take it to a shop, im sure its much cheaper than $500 and they will do it perfectly and correctly the first time

Where exactly are you located? A guy I know has done several of these (including a friends LS) and can repair yours for a good price.

Adrenaline autoworks in richmond has time sert repair kits, planning on driving up there and getting my block done in the coming weeks
