Default Tie Rod End Removal

I'm working on a 99 Audi A4. I can remove the ball joint but I am having troubling unscrewing the tie rod end from the tie rod itself. The is rust showing on the threads of the tie rod end. I have been spraying WD 40 on it but still no luck.

Thanks

may have to use a torch to heat up the old end to expand it and it will come off

I found this site http://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/w...oken_fasteners which describes two methods for heating it up. One uses wax while the other doesn't. Which one should I use and how hot should I heat it up?

Will heating the tie rod up ruin it? I'm worried I'll heat it up and still won't be able to remove it.

+1, I'm a huge fan of PB blaster. Works everytime!

Just make sure to count the rotations of the tie rod when you take it off so that way when you put the new one on your aligenment wont be screwed up.
