ive got a 95 240sx.. tach isnt working. itll just sit at 0.. and then out of nowhere spaz out and erratically jump up and down.. almost spinning in circles..

could this just be a bad sensor.. cable? what am i looking at replacing?

is it a factory tach in the cluster??

it runs off the dizzy ...or the ecu...im not sure on a nissan...

i would try to borrow a good cluster real quick and see if that fixes it...it could be screwed up in the cluster

yeah its factory.. but ill see what i can do.. hopefully that will fix it

mine did something similar to this problem, and it ended up just being a bad cluster. Just try replacing it...i payed 50 shipped for a new(er) cluster and it worked fine.
