Question ???swap For 89 Crx????

Will a 87, 1.6 dohc teg engine ;work in the 89 crx hf?????let me know plz....!

Bold is the car you have..under it is swaps... I found this list of possible...swaps..couldn't find the one u have and I'm not sure if these are the only ones you can do...i don't know why you would want to put an engine that old in...


88-91 CRX or CIVIC DX

as far as i know. the engine mount is different. you have to custom make it from a 94 up integra mount. also you have to use the 88-91 d-series tranny. there might be more to it, but thats what ive ran into.

if thats a d-series which i think it is the teg zc it should be direct bolt in correct me if im wrong

Upon confirmation from my teacher..(haha)...yea..the ZC will fit the crx

it will work, you just have to figure out what tranny and mounts you have to use, ive seen them in 89 and 90 hatchbacks so im sure it will work in your car.......
