Default suspension bolts

on my 92 civic hatch i got the after market adjustable coilovers on it and lower controls are but where the rear lower contol arms meet the coilover what size bolt should i use i have heard grade 8 but i need help with this like sizes let me know what you got thanks

grade 8 minimum. 10.9 is factory rating.

i would honestly get them honda..i believe they are like $3 a piece...i know theyre not exactly cheap, but it is your suspension were talking about

You can get grade 10.9 bolts from hardware stores and they are stronger than the bolts on your car now. I've done 3 cars complete suspension rebuilds and autocrossed all three and NEVER had one problem.

and they are actually $6.09+tax each from honda

To be honest. I'd get the Honda bolts.

Honda redesigned them to prevent future siezing.

And just to clarify Grade 8 is not as strong as 10.9, that would be Grade 5. 12.9 is equivalent to grade 8. Just sayin.
