SR20DET Help Please
Alright, I have a Black Top and i was abusing it today. It was hot and humid as hell but heres my problem. After driving about 30 miles i came to a stop and the engine started lagging pretty bad. Sometimes it would be ok then back to the bogging. I'm thinking this is a boost problem b/c of the heat outside. Can that make a significant difference? Im at stock bost and have mild bolt-ons. Thanks

yes i do have the SMIC. I kinda checked for leaks but not completely. I dont have a boost gauge yet. Whats the best way to check for leaks? Can someone explain the effects of heat soak? Does it make you sputter under WOT?

timing is at the stock 16 degrees also. I didnt alter it after the engine started after the swap. Do i need to adjust it anymore?

Re: SR20DET Help Please
Oddly enough the FSM makes no mention of heat soak for the problem of the engine stalling when it is hot. I wouldn't think you'd run into heat soak problems at stock boost.

Maybe hesitation would be a better choice than stalling, but it still doesn't have any mention of heat soak though. Oh well, if you're happy with it being heat soak then I'm happy
