SR20DET Bogging??

SR20DET Bogging??
My SR tends to bog when im cruizin, does not matter what gear im in. Then when i step on the gas it feels like a sudden shot of nitrous and it runs very well. I have a boost gauge coming in this week. The car is supposedly running at 7psi, I do not have a boost controller until i fix my problem. The car also tends to backfire at lower speeds. I have looked for leaks in the hoses and no luck. I still have not put in my 255 fuel pump. Could that be a problem with this motor??

i'm in chesapeake va. i dont give out my number any longer on this board. i had a hoard of nissan newbies calling me that i had no idea who they were. please understand my position when i'm on my personal time getting calls about cars.
