Re: springs

on my old da9 i had the tein s-tech springs they were comfortable for the most part but if i had to do it all over again i would have went with the h-tech. the s-tech come with a really aggressive drop in my opinion, but like i always say it your decision just remember to change shocks. your older ones will not be able to maintain after you lower it.

You can use stock shocks if the new springs are close to the same spring rate as stock. Cushy drop springs are often about the same spring rate as stock.
GR2s should handle whatever you throw at them though, and are good stuff.

Re: springs

if your only looking for 1.5 drop almost any lowering spring will do...
but if it were me, i'd ditch the gr2's and start fresh with ground control coilovers and koni yellows...
and then dump that bitch...haha
good luck with whatever setup you run
