spring install
 
i just ordered some goldline lowering springs for my car. roughly how long and difficult will install be on them?

pay $20 and get a spring compresser from Pep boys or whatever, it saves so much fucking time its not even funny, and you don't have to worry about so much tension on shit....

i didnt have a spring compressor for my install, all the shit just slid right in..

just put your foot on the spring and hold it. pop the nut off with a air gun and make sure no one is in the way of the shock. much easier

and hour and a half tops.. if you know what your doing.... and ive never used a spring compressor and ive done more cars than i can count.......

if you just use an air gun it's just going to spin the rod and bolt. You have to use an allen key, and some sort of breaker bar then use a basic wrench and take the nut off. Its your choice to either compress the springs or not compress them.

I would compress them if I were you, otherwise you might be searching for some lost parts. >_<
