eg hatch with b series swap. The speedo only works some times, I replaced the vss ( not the entire thing with the gear but just the electrical part). I thought that took care of the problem but it screwed up again. I checked the wires for connection and everything is getting the correct readings. When it stops working, my s300 doesn't pick up any mph signal either. Will the gauge cluster cause this? Does anyone know the procedure for testing a gauge cluster with a multi. meter? This issue is keeping me from having my car tuned so any input would be appreciated.

Take it apart an literally cook the circuit board all by it self. Tear up the two strips of glue b4 heating board, I used a heat gun for 3 min on high two times.. its been working for a year now. In my Accord.. o ya Google works too buddy

are the pins corroded or corroded away completely in the vss plug or on the vss?

I got if figured out, the ground going to the sensor was reading a good connection when the car wasn't running but when I started the car it would fade in and out. I just tapped in a extra ground from the thermostat housing to the vss plug and it works great. My guess is the wire has a break inside the insulation.

I do have one other question, My car is fully built b20 vtec turbo. I have not drove it on the road since I got it running besides a few pulls in front of my house for testing purposes. It runs strong and crosses vtec but breaks up and wont go over 6k. I have stock injectors in it until I get to the dyno so Im thinking they are running out of fuel in full boost. Does anyone else know of anything that will cause that? Keep in mind it is not tuned, its running on a b16 turbo base map. I just dont want any issues when I get to the dyno. Thanks

It's not tuned! Of course it isn't going to run right, get a tune before you detonate the engine!
