i dont know many or ANY dealership that is willing to advance the timing. They will only advance or retard it if its off.

but performance shops will do it.

Can a performance shop do it? Im pretty sure they need a consult to do so.

Go to Green Gifford in norfolk accross from the airport. Ask to speak to Dewey in Nissan service. Ask him if he'll do it!

He has done Vbspec's and mine. It takes 2 minutes. Not that big of a difference though. But, hell it was free.

Yes you do need a consult machine to do it. Thats why I was checking dealerships. Thanks Accelerate I will check there. Did you notice any difference at all?

A little bit but, after a while you sort of forget that you had it done.

Not to change the subject, but my friend and I went to check on a replacement rim for his Spec V today for the right front, it cost $600.00 for a replacement 17 inch rim, that's freakin crazy. An 18 in volk TE37 cost a little less than that. I couldn't imagine how much a replacement cost for the volk rim an a 350Z, just had to mention that.

22 lbs!!!

Tell your freind to go to some of the Nissan boards like www.B15sentra.net and www.thevboard.com and look for some used ones. If it's just a cosmetic issue he could just get the rim re-finished, or hell get some lighter aftermarket rims.
