Question Front strut tower bar won't fit my 96 civic hatch

Ok so my friend has a 92 civic hatch.
He has a skunk2 front upper strut tower bar that I tried to put on my 96 civic hatch.
This part should fit 92-00 civics. It fits his perfectly but won't fit mine.
Does this mean my frame is bent?

You have to take the mounts off from the bar. Had one on my 96 hatch that came from a del sol. If you cant figure out something this simple you need to stay out of the heat as it is frying your brain cell (singular)

if you have a y7 motor the intake wont allow it to be mounted. then again the holes probably arent lining up to the strut tower.

So if it won't fit, at least one of these two things is true:
  1. It doesn't fit a 96
  2. Your frame is bent

You could try another brace and see if it fits..

1. Remove the 4 - 14mm nuts from the shock tower.

2. Remove 1 or both of the Allen head thru bolts from the strut bar.

3. Install the 2 end plates. Do not tighten the 14mm nuts until last.

4. Slide the bar into the endplates.

5. Install the Allen head screws.

6. Tighten the 14mm nuts.

7. Have a cool drink of lemonade or iced tea to cool off your hot head

Note: If it still doesnt fit, you can:

slot the holes in the end plates

run and cry to your momma

pay $80/hour for someone to install it for you

give up installing bolt ons completely

  3. The OP is an idiot. Stick with installing LED windshield washer nozzles and APC stickers
