Default signal light problem

ok, i was driving down the road, hit my left turn signal to get over, looked at the gauge cluster, and the left turn light was stuck on, ive checked everything i know(bulbs, connectors, changed the switch, checked fuses, etc...) its only when the parking lights are on though, if the switch is off there are no lights on, you turn the switch on, both front and rear signal lights stay on, right side works fine, just looking for some ideas before i dig into a lot of wiring, let me know you ideas, im just confused because i didnt nothing more than turn on the signal, thanks in advance

Relay switch in the fusebox? I had a 79 Buick that had directionals stay on....it's a box relay in the fusebox that creates the flasher. I know you said you checked that, but it's got to be something in there. The amperage drain on the relay from the parking lights operating could be causing this. Try replacing the relay and see if that works. Check your owner's manual. Usually what's what in the fusebox is undeneath the fusebox cover. Hope this helps. Good luck.

yeah man, ill check it again, but that wouldnt explain why when you turn the headlights are on, the left turn signals front and rear would stay on would it?

Well if replacing the relay doesn't work I'd start looking for a bad ground. That would suck if that was the case. Any electronic gurus out there? I'm out of my league here.

Could be a bad switch on the stalk, its rare but it shouldn't be a problem if your car is a 2000 model. There shouldn't be any way that the switch should be worn out already.
