Default several cruise control questions...

1st of all, Im not sure where my manual is that came with my integra, so im not sure how exactly to use cruise control. I usually get up to about 70mph, hit the cruise control button on the dash and hit 'set'...but it doesnt engage, even though the light is on the dash. Am i doing something wrong? or is it broke? Secondly If i was going to remove cruise control, how hard would that be and how hard would it be to reinstall if I were to sell the car somewhere down the line.

thanks

check the wire that runs from the cruse control box to the trotle to see if it is disconected, and also the electic conector in case it got disconected, it could also be that the cruse control box electric motor is bad, so try to jump it at the electrical conection to see if it revs up the engine. its easy to remove but not nesesary

First you have to activate it, usually there is a button just for that...and then you have to usually push the "set" or "accel" button twice to get it to engage.

i do press the cruise control button, then i press set when im up to speed. it doesnt do shit! then i start hittin all the buttons and it doesnt do anything. Im not a moron...

The only thing I can think of besides it flat out not working period is that the little motor to control the gas pedal through cruise control isnt strong enough to pull my gas pedal down because of my throttle cable being so tight.
