RT-615 vs. Neo Gens
Ive read a bunch of different reviews and both tires can be had for almost the same price. Just looking for a few inputs from VaDriven.
Was just wondering which you guys recommened the Falken Azenis RT-615 or the Nitto Neo Gens? Why? Im currently running Neo Gens and dont have any problems, just due to be changed soon.
Any input is welcomed.
Thanks In Advance
Oh, these would be going on a semi daily civic.

If you're looking for a sticky tire, there's no comparison. Azenis are WAY better of a tire. I had both, and the Neo Gens and RT615s are even in the same category. Now if you want to go one step better, for like $6 more a tire the Kumho Ecsta XS is one of the stickiest street tires out there. The RT-615s are bottom of the barrel as far as sticky street tires now.

Re: RT-615 vs. Neo Gens
i have the gens on my civic but i was using it for daily driving from elizabeth city to p-town and needed something with good wear characteristics. they are wearing great but imo they dont hook for shit. if i keep the car and i wear these out, i will be looking for a different tire since i will not be driving it much anymore.

They wore great when I was slammed and running lots of camber. Its like they were designed to be run with lots of negative camber and not wear out prematurely.

according to the site that is what they were designed for. the inside tread area is a solid type design which handles the load better than one that has grooves cut in it.
