Re: rsx wont hold idle!!!! plz help :(
the best way to get my car to crank up is to hold the trottle down and turn it over. any other way will flood out the engine. if i need to restart quick i have to unplug injectors turn car over(car runs for about a second) plug injectors back in and hope she starts up. she sometimes holds an idle but its extreamly rough at about 600 rpm anything under that it stalls,

That sounds much more like the ecu problem I had. Do what dude said, borrow a good ecu and see how it responds.

here are a couple pictures ive snapped wile removing my valve cover. it seems my timing is correct? and my cams look very nice and shiny, couldn't find a scratch on them. i haven't adjusted valves yet as i have not found a good k20a2 valve adjustment tut. im hearing 100k is the recommended time you readjust your valves in an k20a2 i have 115k i really hope this solves the problem. if not my next purchase is a new ecu or hopefully kpro

100k is indeed Honda's recommendation for adjusting the valves. Unfortunately for the K series they do get a bit more loose before that interval. I'd adjust them and see what happens before blowing anymore money. Borrow a known good ecu if possible.

so i checked my valves and some were a little tight and some were a little loose, nothing to major it seemed but im going to set them to a pec i found at a forum that a couple people could notice better responses in the motor so ill do that tomorrow and update ya! and good idea sinner, im having a friend come by tomorrow to swap our ecu out and see what happenes. still haven't checked voltage to my coils but ill asses that also tomorrow.
