I am swapping an ek tomorrow and the motor that was in it before had 1000cc injectors with a resistor box. I was wondering if i could leave the resistor box in and be fine with stock injectors on a stock ls? Thanks

It's not very likely that the stock LS injectors have the same connector as the 1000cc injectors, so why not just use the wiring downstream from the resistor box?

If you use the resistor box with stock high impedance injectors, the injector current profile probably won't be that great, and the injector current will be very low.

The clips are actually the same since it had precision 1000s in it.. What do you mean use the injector wiring downstream from the resistor box? The problem is im not 100% sure on how to remove the resistor box from the circuit...

the resistor box ties all the grounds together , take the wiring apart and send a wire to each injector

Sorry, that was a poor choice of words. I meant that you could tap off of the wiring before the resistor box, which would bypass it. The connection between the injectors and the ECU is always there, so you'd just need to wire from before the resistor box to after the resistor box. Normally the injectors are all tied to power, and the other pin (on each injector) is connected to the ECU. The resistor box goes inline between power and each injector, which limits the current to each injector.

No, the resistor box ties all the power wires together. All the grounds go to the ECU.
