removing a/c from a 93 integra ls
i'm gona turn my integra into a track car, and i wanted to start by removing some added weight, so if some one could tell me how to properly remove the a/c compressor and everything else, that would be great.
btw, its a 1993 Acura Integra Ls.
also, i tried searching it on here and google. Nothin came up.

yeah its called freon. yes it bad for the air. if you want to properly evacuate the system, go to a place that charges ac system and tell them you want the freon removed.

find your scrader valve...looks like a tire valve..
there is two...one on each of the aluminum lines...just trace the lines till you find it...should have a blue cap on the top of it
.press it down with a small screwdriver and see if it has pressure...if it doesnt then you have no freon in the system...if it has pressure either rake it to a shop and have it removed or let the screwdriver accident;y get stuck...
and by the time you get it unstuck all the freon will be removed
if not...start over and repaeat the last step.
