looks like a legit company. they dont advertise any hp numbers but doesnt seem to much different of a concept than nitrous except for less efficient.

On a turbo car, using a CO2 intercooler sprayer could give you that much HP gain, but that would depend on a lot of variables. You're not actually injecting CO2 into your engine, you're just using it to cool something else.

They also sell an intake cooler, but it does largely the same thing but for non-turbo cars. Again, it isn't adding anything into the engine, just reducing intake temps. 50 HP on a non-turbo car is a pipe dream though. If you aren't gaining 50HP when it's really cold outside, you won't gain it with an intake cooler either. It's just common sense.

I can't really take that company (DEI)too seriously though, because they're selling CO2 purge kits, which are completely unnecessary and really ricey.

It's not replacing nitrous injection into the engine, it's replacing nitrous as an intercooler sprayer. That's why there isn't any HP numbers. Intake temps, intercooler type, intercooler performance, power output, etc., all effect the power difference from an intercooler sprayer. You're changing the efficiency of the intercooler.

Again, this isn't a replacement for nitrous injection, so you can't put HP numbers on it. Nitrous injection is largely predictable because you can meter the amount of nitrous going into the engine. Intercooler sprayers don't introduce anything into the engine, therefore you're not adding any power except through a reduction in intake temps.

ROFL. So much for JHS chemistry these days, my god. CO2 = Carbon Dioxide, which will extinguish flame/combustion (if injected). Thanks for the laugh, oddly that Internet old video of the dude blowing up a raft - then a kid jumping on the raft - causing the dudes head to explode came to mind.
