Default Question for you Dodge guys.

I'm tring to help a friend figure out what is wrong with his dakota, it an 03 4x4 with a 4.7l, in park it dies and it idles real rough, i personally haven't seen it so i haven't been able to give him an accurate dianostics(sp) on it yet, as far as i can think of right now is that it is either a vac. leak, needs a tune up or in the worst case, it jumped timing. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Most likely, clean the throttle body good.
Basically, standard tune-up. Jeeps have the same problem.

That's the most likely cause
