A question about my 240SX.
Whats up everyone, this is my first post. Sorry in advance If i make everything sound dumb. I was wondering should i supe up my 240sx and is it really worth it? The reason I ask this question because my friend at work wants to make a race team and I am wondering should i supe up my car. My is a 91 240SX (duh, lol) Coupe, it has 212,000 miles on it (ouch), and has a minor leak(which is about to get fixed). Is it worth suping up and if so what things should i put into it like engines and etc. I was also wondering, if i swap out my car's old engine with a new one, would the 212,000 mileage would really matter? Please answer this question and thanks everyone.

Re: A question about my 240SX.
LOL, nice guys. Yes the car is worth "suping up" if it is a manual. Im guessing you are new into cars (please dont say you're not), so Ill hold back being a complete ass to you. There are MANY options for your car, so many in fact I can never decide what im doing with mine, best thing for you to do is leave this site and find one directed specifically towards the SX or Nissan. Ill PM you a list of places to check out instead of listing them all here...Like shiftva.com lol shameless plug.

SR20DET would be a great platform to start from if you want to SUP up the car. But you need to do lots of research before you think about an engine swap. Read through one of the 240 forums, im sure there is an abundance of information on them, maybe even instructions on how to do the engine swap.

good luck and also you might want to look into new suspension pieces those 200k+ mile stock ones are probably shot.

any one that uses the word "supe it up" should not be in this hobby. If anything, get a loan and buy a prebuilt car and have a good mechanic you know ready when you break shit.
