Question question about building a motor

what motor is easier to build a b18 or a h22. or are they the same. i want something that isnt going to put a big hole in my pocket and wind up being a pain in the ass. i just dont know much difference between both engines. once i make my mind up as whether i want to go turbo or just all motor is when i will decide on an engine. which one would you build and why.

Go with the B18, its easier and there is lots of aftermarket parts for them. Working on a H22 will cost ya $$$ and hard to find parts for them . So B18 all the way.

yeah really....B18 is everywhere...

B18A1?
B18B1?
B18C1?
B18C5?

B series motors are definately the easy way to go vs. an H22

I plan on putting it in an EG HB. I have heard about the weight problems with the H22 in a HB but that really doesnt bother me. Ill just put an upgraded suspension on it . I just want to know where i will get the most bang for my buck thats basically it. Just trying to feel this thing out a bit.
