question about the AC and PS install in civic hatch cx.
my question is that if you got the b16 or b18 swapped civic hatch, with no AC and PS, how much will it cost me to get both ac and ps installed? and do i need to get the ps and ac made for the civic hatch or the motor that has been swapped?
your knowledge will be great help for me. Thanx people.

Re: question about the AC and PS install in civic hatch cx.
you get them for the car, not the motor. all the info you need will be found between google and honda-tech. you will need the a/c bracket from a first gen crv.

Your question is hard to answer on the cost side because you have a few options and your best option is to find a civic from 92-95 in the junk yard that has the A/C and P/S intact and remove everything that you need. Now when you say that you do not have a/c did the last owner remove just the compressor pump? Pump and all Lines? or all of the above even the parts under the dash? This is why I say to find a car in the junk yard.
Now to make the a/c work with the b16 you will need an a/c compressor bracket from a Del Sol that came with the the vtec engine (about a 100.00 part new from ebay).
Now for the p/s does your car have a power steering rack? if not you will need to change the rack as well as to get all of the lines, pump and brackets. This again is why I would find a car in the junk yard.
So you know a new a/c compressor is around 400.00. and dont forget that you will have to get a shop to charge the a/c system most likely another 100.00-150.00.
Hope that this helps.
