Question about ABS on a 94 Integra
I have a question that someone can hopefully answer, I have a 94 Acura Integra and my brakes make a grinding/clicking sound sometimes when I press on them... and my ABS light comes on. Does anyone know what I need to replace??

Re: Question about ABS on a 94 Integra
Sounds like the ABS system isnt working, do you brakes lock up if you press the brake hard or does it slow you down like abs should?

Re: Question about ABS on a 94 Integra
sounds like the abs pump engauging....it will probably need a abs pump. Try doing a abs flush first, if that dosent work it will most likely need a pump.

Re: Question about ABS on a 94 Integra
abs actuator is a common problem w/ integras... unfortunatly expensive part... my brother warned me about this before i bought my integra... he works as a service writer for acura.

Re: Question about ABS on a 94 Integra
Check that your ABS sensors and wheel encoders aren't broken or loose. I had a maxima once upon a time that had a broken encoder ring and it flopped around and smacked the ABS sensor on that wheel. It would lock different wheels randomly under normal stopping conditions, and make horrible noises, which was really fun in traffic in the rain. It sounds very similar to what you're complaining about, even though the Honda ABS setup is a bit different.. if your sensors are not working properly or are loose, you'll throw the ABS computer off and it will behave terribly.
