Know if there is even a Vortech supercharger for a prelude... I can't find one.. all I come up with is Jackson raceing.. help please!!!!

no, there is no vortech supercharge for a h22. sowwy. just the JRSC for 5th gens... and i KNOW it will come up. there IS a guy named Caz who retrofitted a jrsc on a 4th gen h22 by making a custom bracket. but you got a 97 so it doesnt pertain to you =]

yeah... but I heard JRSC dosn't squeeze out any where as much as the Vortech... but it dose add lots of torqe

listen to crate, he knows his shit. but hes right jrsc is the only made for it. maybe in like 5 years vortech will come out with one but the jrsc is the traditional type of sc. tuned right and done right, you'll see some impressive numbers. do a search on honda-tech

yup, if you want a supercharger, JR is definately the way to go. The set up is really nice. Go to the JR webpage, they have some dyno sheets on there.

i think the average jrsc'd 5th gen is a mid 13 in the 1/4? not sure. never really kept up with it. its a respectable setup. just TUNE IT%#@%@

hah... no problem there... after I get that... next step is to port and polish... then springs and retainers, then some stage two cams if they won't blow up my car....

If you get it, ditch the FMU and get hondata, and a j&s safeguard. and spend the $ and tune it well on the dyno. =] or you'll fry those itty bitty high placed rings on our pistons.
