So I go and pick up my grandma's car the other day to run some errands. I pull out of her driveway and start putting the driver side window down, it stops about 2-3 inches and won't do anything. Other windows still work but drivers side is unresponsive.

I traced a problem to the actual control, but after I fixed that, the window still doesn't go up or down. Now I can hear an electrical "click" when I try to put it up or down.

I don't care about bullshit, and she hardly drives it further than the post office. I just want the window up.

the car is a 94 Corolla LE. How many wires should go to the motor? I'd like to just jump it so it goes up and then problem solved.

I just don't know a whole lot about power window motors so I don't know what to expect when I pop the door panel.

Anyone know what I should try to look for? and no, I don't want to test every wire 1 by 1 either.

Check the fuses first. You're probably hearing the relay for the motor click, but that doesn't mean that there is power actually going to the motor.

I checked all the fuses, pulled them all just to be sure. The other windows work, just not the driver side.
