ok i have a eg 4 door with a b16a2 swap in it. now my problem is, when im driving there is this horrible knocking and shaking in the front end. the motor mounts arent new, and do have some cracks in the rubber, but nothing crazy broken. when i got the car it didnt have the mount at the drivers side bottom where the ac compressor was. so i put that mount on. next i noticed the same mount on the opposite side was also missing. so i installed that. if im going over 10 mph this shake thudd/ thumping in the front end is pretty bad, and the faster i go the worse it gets. now, if i accelerate (wot) its gone, smooth as eggs. and when i get on the brakes hard its also gone. I grabbed each cv axle to see if they were really loose, and they do move about 1/2-1/4 inch when pulling on the shaft up and down (no homo). its daark and I dont have a jack right now, but im needed some advice on what this could be. i tried looking around with a flashlight and couldnt see anything abnormal, but I need to figure this out fast. thanks in advanced for any help provided.

could be the strut top hats if they are worn the fuck out...

they are unloaded and wot and compressed during hard braking more than at normal driving

also when i turn to the right hard it goes away, and if i turn left it gets bad

cliffs- when i accelerate, no shake/thud/thumping. when im driving any speed it shakes/ thumps/ thuds like crazy. evrything looks to be ok, cv axles move a little up and down, but no more than 1/2 inch if that. when i press the brakes (slowing down) it goes away, smooth.

check your axle nut and or wheel bearing

sure you have the correct axles???

maybe they are loose in the hub end...
