Default Play in steering wheel

My 93 Honda del sol has play in the steering wheel and clunks slightly going over some bumps...I just replaced both tie rods because they were worn out. It also makes a creaking noise if i turn the wheel sharp enough to do a u-turn and i don't have power steering. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

Sounds like the CV joint on the axle.

Ninja Edit: for the clunking.

Buy some aftermarket steering rack bushings. They will be cheap, maybe 30 bucks.

Did you just replace the outer tie rod ends or the entire tie rod with outer and inner?

Jack the front of the car up. Is there any play in the wheels? Possibly the joints in the steering linkage.

Check the inner then, they're probably worn out if you've already replaced the outers because of wear. Also check the ball joints.
