Unhappy PCV help please

Hello guys! I've been searching forever and was wondering if I could block the PCV hole on the back of an ls block and run both hose on catch can just to the valve cover? I know there are many ways to do it but just want to make sure this way would be okay and why? Thanks Guys

1. Wrong section

2. Why would you need this application on an LS (assuming Honda motor) by your username.

3. If you're doing it to cheap out or your going to be cheap with it, you should probably go ahead and retract your question before you feel like a dumbass.

Can you? Yes.

Should you? Probably not...

Why? Because if you are asking questions about it, then you probably dont understand the entire purpose of a PCV system anyway.

...oh, and IIRC, there was almost identically worded post in Tech Talk a while back.

Must not have searched very hard.

The big question I have is why you would want to do that?

Seals are gonna blow out from the excessive pressure. Great way to ruin an engine.

Wow very welcoming responses. In the time it took to type those posts an actual answer could have been given.

Route a hose to a catch can. Don't over think it. I've used PVC pipe with caps on both ends, packed with steel wool and drilled some holes for a couple brass nipples. Drilled a hole in the bottom I could unplug to drain it. Painted it black. Done.

You definitely haven't been here long if you think those are "unwelcoming" responses. They were all quite nice compared to how most of these kinds of threads go.

That's a lot of work for something that doesn't need to be done in the first place.
