oil sensor light (b18b)
sup guys,
have a quick question. A little while ago the wire from my oil pressure sensor ripped out of the clip. So i took off the clip,re-inserted the wire, and put it back on. I want to make sure that everything is good and working. If i were to unplug the clip from the sensor, will the oil light come on (to tell me its working),or in another sence,if the wire didnt have a good connection, would it throw the oil light?
im just trying to make sure it still works, just incase something would happen and the car would throw an oil light.

No it will not. It gets a ground signal that makes the oil light come on. Best thing to do is to ground the wire out and see if it makes the oil light come on.
