What are we talking about here, Nippon Racing or NPR? They're not the same company as far as I know....

NPR (Nippon Piston Ring) is supposedly an OEM supplier to Honda and some other companies, but I've never used anything with their brand name on it.

Nippon Racing is apparently a Japanese company, but not the same company.

I Googled and found a lot of Nippon Racing pistons for sale packaged with NPR rings. And a bunch of people saying they were two different companies. I'm not saying either of them are good or bad, I'm just saying they're two different companies so which one are we talking about?
