Now im stumped!
Ok here is the story:
I have a b18c with built bottom end minus sleeves. The problem is that we put it back together and the car was seeing 20 psi of oil pressure at idle. Then it went to below 5 and stayed there!
I changed:
-oil changed
-New filter
-new oil pump
-new oil pick up
-put a new block in (thinking the block i had was f*cked up)
and nothing!
If the motor is rev'd at 4k it sees 20-25 psi. Not where it should be at all!
Anyone have a suggestions?

Re: Now im stumped!
uh u can shim the oil pump to bring the pressure up , u take out the allen plug on the pump inside the pan and in between the the plug and the spring u put a .040" - 0.080" washer and put it back together, also make sure u have a good gasket in between the pickup and pump ..... use some ultra grey rtv if u have to ... it sound like u don't have a tight seal there and are losing vacume on the pickup by pumpin air, given all is good with your bearing clearances ...but yeesh with enough clearance to make the oil pressure that low that motor has to sound like shit when its running
